Snippit
Here's a snippit from a fic I plan to have up this year. "Only Time Can Tell", it is a slash through the snippit doesn't have any major slash.
This is from the first book, second chapter:

A silent cry escaped the parted lips, and Eomer remained still as

scratches and rumbles could be heard above. Using his eyes the man explored

the cavern that he found himself in; the great rocks merged with smaller kin

and the dirt of the mountains all surrounding him. The blond shivered as

another stone shifted but his attention was drawn to the sharp pain in his

back. He was positioned on a particle sharp rock that ripped into his back

and allowed the blood to flow freely and pool beneath him. Eomer cried out

when a fair sized boulder crashed onto him. The mark rider slipped back into

an unconscious state, and dreamed of open fields and a singing companion.
